Brucella abortus

Brucella abortus is a Gram-negative proteobacterium of the family Brucellaceae and is one of the causative agents of brucellosis.

Brucella abortus, strain S99 – Weybridge is cultivated by fermentation and extracted by detergent.

The native antigen BA116VS is suitable for the detection of IgG, IgM and IgA against B. abortus.
