SERION coupling reagents

SERION coupling reagents

SERION coupling reagents are designed to activate charged surfaces for biomolecule coupling. If standard coupling methods like EDC/NHS activation do not allow a sufficent coupling efficiency for your target biomolecule, SERION coupling reagents provide a collection of further activation strategies. Instrinsic properties of biomolecules such as charge, H-bond donor/acceptor sites and hydrophobicity are targeted to generate multiple attractive interactions resulting in stable coupling.

SERION coupling reagents CRN01 - CRN07 are a carefully selected group of activation reagents for the activation of negative surfaces, e.g. carboxylate microparticles. SERION coupling reagents CRP01 - CRP07 are selected for the activation of positive surfaces like amine particles, respectively. They can be used to activate commercially available microspheres or our MagSERION carboxy/amine beads. To support your coupling procedure, we also offer the fitted blocking buffer CB01.
