Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV)

Converted human plasma (re-calcified plasma = serum), antibody positive or negative for Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) VCA IgG or IgM. Antibody reactivity is detected using SERION Diagnostics’ ELISA classic assay ESR1361G/M. The EBV IgG negative plasma PL136GN was additionally determined negative for EBNA1 IgG using SERION ELISA classic ESR1362G. Note: All materials have been tested and classified on donor level to be negative or non-reactive for STS, HBsAg, HIV 1 Ag (or HIV PCR (NAT), HCV antibody, HCV (NAT) and HIV 1/2 antibody, as required at the time of bleeding, by using FDA licensed test kits. However, no test system can guarantee complete absence of infectious agents. Therefore, all products should be considered potentially infectious and handled with appropriate safety precautions.
