Chikungunya Virus (CHKV)

Chikungunya Virus belongs to the genus of alpha viruses and the family of Togaviridae. The main immune dominant proteins from Chikungunya Virus are the two glycoproteins E1 and E2. The recombinant antigens E1 and E2 are expressed in SF9 insect cells (with a Baculovirus expression vector) and purified by affinity chromatography. The antigens are suitable for the detection of IgG antibodies against Chikungunya and purity in SDS-PAGE (Coomassie staining) is ≥ 95 %.
